Following his first ever sold-out UK Tour, alternative hip-hop artist Hobo Johnson will be commencing his debut European tour right here in the city centre.

Crowbar Presents: Empathy Unplugged

Alternative Rock quartet Empathy take over Crowbar this Monday for an intimate acoustic show, performing a selection of original material as well as some of the band’s favourite acoustic covers. Support from Kenny Stapleton.

The Olllam – Summer 2018 Tour

Neo-Acoustic Celtic Post-Rock band The Olllam get ready to rock Whelan’s main stage as part of their Irish Summer dates.

Trashcan Sinatras: One Night, Two Albums

A very special seated acoustic show, where Progpop quartet Trashcan Sinatras will be playing songs from their seminal albums ‘Cake’ and ‘I’ve Seen Everything’.

Crowbar Presents: Fears

Lunasa – Headline Show

Traditional Irish band Lúnasa play a headline show in Whelan’s to mark the release of their tenth album. Support from Natalie Merchant.

Originally from Ireland, singer/songwriter Fields is grabbing her acoustic guitar and heading home from Australia to share her enchanting yet sometimes amusing stories through song.

Whelan’s Trad & Folk Festival 2018 Aug 2nd – 5th

After a hugely successful debut year, Whelan’s and Smithwick’s are delighted to announce this year’s Trad & Folk Festival on the August Bank Holiday Weekend. Expanded to 4 days this year, this FREE festival has been a huge hit with both locals and visitors alike.

Ex Oh Chapter 76 – Nearly at 100!

Beatyard 2018

Beatyard is back on this bank holiday weekend in Dun Laoghaire Harbour! Including 80+ music acts & performers and 100+ food vendors, demos, food competitions, cooks and stands, this festival is NOT to be missed.
