Girl’s Rock Dublin get ready to present an evening of live interactive workshops.
Girls Rock Dublin are a voluntary organisation based in Dublin. They run camps and events which encourage young women to discover their true musical and artistic potential. The organisation aims to support women in the Music Industry, helping them to express their own individuality through the power of music.
To raise funds for the official Girl’s Rock Dublin Summer Camp taking place this July, the organisation are holding an evening of three interactive workshops. The three-hour event is open to 18+ girls and those that self-identify as female (trans and cis). Ultimately, the aim of the event is to give participants the opportunity to learn about either 1) Live Sound Engineering, 2) Guitar and Bass pedal effects or 3) Vocal Looping. A ticket to attend one of these workshops costs €20. The event and camp are sponsored by IMRO, running in partnership with Ernie Ball (guitar strings) and BIMM Dublin.
